Position: Behavioural Teacher
Pay Rate: £23 per hour
Job Type: Flexible - Ongoing, Ad-hoc, or Long-term Assignments Available

Are you passionate about supporting young people facing significant emotional and social challenges? We’re looking for a dedicated and resilient Behavioural Teacher to work with students who need a bit more help to thrive. You’ll play a key role in guiding young people with complex needs, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused, one-on-one and small group support to students with severe social and emotional needs.
• Create a positive and safe learning environment, helping students manage challenging behaviours and engage in learning.
• Work closely with school staff, therapists, and families to develop effective, personalised support plans for each student.
• Adapt to each student’s needs, using practical strategies to encourage their social, emotional, and academic growth.

• Experience: Experience working with children or young adults with emotional and behavioural challenges is essential.
• Patience & Resilience: Calm, empathetic, and able to build trust with students who may be struggling.
• Adaptable & Quick-Thinking: Able to respond calmly and effectively to changing situations.
• Communication Skills: Strong communicator, able to work well with students and colleagues.
