Head General Assistant – Guest House – North Yorkshire Coast
Salary: Competitive, 25-27k with at least 2 months off in off season
Live-in option: 2-4 overnight stays per week in on-site apartment

Are you a warm, friendly, and hands-on hospitality professional? We’re looking for a Head General Assistant to join our welcoming team at a charming coastal guest house in North Yorkshire. This varied role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across all areas of hospitality, from front-of-house service to housekeeping and reception duties.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reception & Front of House – Greeting guests, handling check-ins/outs, and ensuring a memorable stay.
Housekeeping – Assisting with room turnovers, laundry, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Guest Services – Managing bookings, answering queries, and providing local recommendations.
Breakfast Service – Helping with morning dining, ensuring a smooth start to the day for guests.
Overnight Stays – 2-4 nights per week in the on-site apartment to provide support as needed.

A friendly and professional manner with a passion for hospitality.
 Experience in front-of-house, housekeeping, or a similar role.
 Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

 A flexible approach – no two days are the same!
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
