Experienced Plater/Welders – Night Shift 

Are you a time-served / experienced Plater/Welder looking for a great opportunity with excellent pay and long-term stability? I'm hiring experienced professionals to join the night shift for my industry-leading structural steel company in Scarborough.
Why Join?

• Permanent positions – no temp-to-perm, no messing about.
• Excellent PAYE rates:
  • Night shift: £23.15ph (£44541 basic).
  • Overtime up to £34.74ph - High volume available 
• 4-day working week – Monday to Thursday
  
  • Night shift: 7pm – 4:45am.

The Role
As a Plater/Welder, you’ll be:

• Fabricating structural steel items of varying grades and thicknesses.
• Using MIG/MAG processes for downhand fillet and butt welds.
• Welding to coded standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

What We’re Looking For
If you’re time-served or apprentice-trained with shop-floor experience in structural or heavy steel environments, we want to hear from you. Ideal candidates will:

• Be competent in both Fabricating and Welding
• Welded in MIG and MAG and ideally Flux Core although training can be provided for Flux Core 
• Be confident working from technical drawings.
